Draft proposal by the Durant Rickenbacker Aerial Transportation Co. concerning mail service between San Francisco, Calif. (using the Oakland Aerodrome), and Portland, Or. The company's goal is to transport mail in two four-hour flights using Medford, Or., as an overnight stop, with Red Bluff, Calif., and Eugene, Or., as emergency stops. The proposal lists R.E. Durant as president, Capt. E.V. Rickenbacker as vice president, and H.P. Warmington as secretary and treasurer. Also given are airplane specifications and estimated expenses. Includes sketch map of route on verso of Detroit Athletic Club letterhead.
